Sequin Shimmer Panels

Sequin shimmer panels are 30cm x 30cm modular tiles you join together to build a glittering, light-catching backdrop for events, exhibitions, weddings, red carpets and photo booths. Because they come in individual panels rather than one fixed wall, you can build any size or layout you like — a full feature wall in a venue, a free-standing photo-booth backdrop, or a smaller accent piece — and reconfigure it for the next event.

Every panel arrives with the sequins already attached and ready to install straight out of the box. There's nothing to hook on, thread or assemble. The sequins are a lightweight, durable plastic engineered to catch the slightest breeze and shimmer under venue lighting, while being tough enough that they won't fade or warp over repeated use.

What sets our panels apart is what's behind the sequins. Each panel has a solid PVC black backing with carbon-steel pins holding the sequins in place — not the flimsy hollow plastic tiles sold cheaply elsewhere.

Free-standing backdrop option Don't have a wall to mount to? Add our portable free-standing frame (3m W x 2.25m H). It comes with a fabric cover that has the matching hook velcro stitched in, so the panels press straight on and stay put. It's the fastest way to create a full shimmer wall backdrop for a photo booth, stage or activation — set up and pulled down in minutes.

What are sequin shimmer panels?

What size are the panels?

Each sequin panel measures 30cm x 30cm (12 x 12 inches). They are only available in this standard square size.

How many sequin panels do I need for a backdrop?

You need approximately 11 sequin panels per square metre. A standard 3m wide x 2.25m high free-standing backdrop takes around 75–80 panels. Send us your finished dimensions and we'll confirm the exact count.

Are the sequins pre-attached to the panels?

Yes. The sequins come completely pre-attached to every panel and arrive install-ready out of the box. You don't need to hook on or assemble anything.

What are the sequin panels made of?

The panels have a solid PVC black backing grid with carbon-steel pins holding the sequins in place — not the flimsy hollow plastic panels sold cheaply elsewhere. The sequins themselves are a lightweight, durable plastic.

How thick and heavy is each panel?

The flat black backing grid is about 3mm thick, and with the pins included the total thickness is around 1.3cm. Each 30cm x 30cm panel weighs about 250–300 grams.

Are sequin panels reusable?

Yes. The sequins are pre-attached and the panels mount with reusable velcro, so you can take a backdrop down, repack it and rebuild it for the next event. The sequins are made to resist fading and warping.

Do the sequins fade or warp over time?

No. The sequins are engineered from a durable, lightweight plastic that's light enough to catch the breeze and shimmer, yet tough enough not to fade or warp with repeated use.

Do you offer a free-standing backdrop option?

Yes. We offer a portable free-standing frame measuring 3m wide x 2.25m high, supplied with a fabric cover that has hook velcro stitched in so the panels attach directly. It's the fastest way to create a full shimmer wall photo-booth backdrop.

What colours do the sequin panels come in?

Sequin panels are available in 22 finishes across metallic, glitter and matt looks: gold (metallic and glitter), silver (metallic and glitter), rainbow metallic, champagne metallic, magenta (metallic and glitter), green (metallic and glitter), red (matt and glitter), royal blue glitter, cyan blue, turquoise glitter, purple glitter, pink, orange, yellow, black and white. Do the panels come in round or square sequins?
