File Requirements
• PDF without trim, crop or registration marks
• All files to be CMYK, not RGB
• All fonts converted to outlines (paths/curves)
• Embed all images and elements
• Files to be 100% scale unless otherwise specified
• No bleed needed — supply artwork at the template size
Resolution
• Bitmap images no less than 130 DPI at full size
Pantone Colours
• If required, Pantone colours must be supplied from the PANTONE+ Solid Coated library
Sending Your Files
• Once your order is placed, email your print-ready files (up to 200MB) to enquiry@wildcowvisual.com.au, with your order number in the subject line
• For files over 200MB, share via WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive and include the link in your email
Artwork FAQs
What resolution does an SEG lightbox print need?
At least 130 DPI at full print size. Watch for scaled files: an image showing 300 DPI in a file set up at 1:10 scale is only 30 DPI when printed full size, and it will look blurry on a backlit wall. See our SEG lightbox range.
Do I need to add bleed for an SEG lightbox or exhibition display?
No bleed needed on any Wild Cow Visual print. Supply your artwork at the template size and keep text and logos clear of the edges.
Should my file be CMYK or RGB?
CMYK. If you design in Canva, choose Download → PDF Print and set the colour profile to CMYK. This option needs a paid Canva plan. Don't add crop marks.
What does "fonts converted to outlines" mean?
It turns your text into shapes, so it prints exactly as designed even if we don't have your font. In Illustrator, select your text and choose Type → Create Outlines. If you designed in Canva, send the PDF Print file and we'll check the fonts for you.
Do you check my artwork before printing?
Yes. Every file is checked before print, and we send you a proof, usually within an hour. If any images will print blurry, we send close-ups of how they'll look so you can decide. Get a quote
