Which fabric should I choose?
Matte 250gsm suits most events, exhibitions, stage backdrops and photo walls. It has no glare under lights or cameras. Choose Blockout 260gsm when there is light behind the banner, such as a window, bright venue or spotlight, because it blocks light so nothing shows through.
Why does blockout cost a little more?
Blockout is a denser fabric with a light-blocking layer, so it costs slightly more than Matte 250gsm. Select your size and fabric above for the exact price.
What printing method do you use?
Full-colour dye-sublimation. The ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the print won't crack, peel or flake, even after many setups.
Do you print double-sided?
No, fabric banners are single-sided. The Matte 250gsm has a white back and the Blockout 260gsm has a black back.
What is the largest size you can print?
Both fabrics print in one seamless piece up to 3m × 9m. Larger banners can be joined with a seam. Contact us for a quote.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Choose the closest standard size or contact us with your exact size for a quote.
Will it crease when I fold it?
Matte 250gsm is wrinkle-resistant, so it folds into a bag and creases drop out once hung. A steamer, or a warm iron under a cloth, removes any that remain.
Can I wash it?
Yes, the Matte 250gsm is machine washable, so it can be cleaned between events.
Is the fabric fire retardant?
Yes. Both fabrics are fire retardant as standard, so they suit convention centres, hotels and other venues that require it.
Can I reuse it for more than one event?
Yes. Fold it, store it dry and use it again. The colour is inside the fabric, so it stays bright event after event.
What can I hang it on?
Eyelets tie or cable-tie to poles, fences and truss. Rod pockets slide over a pole or backdrop stand. Velcro hook edges fix to media wall and tension frames. Hemmed edges only suit banners you pin or clip.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, both fabrics suit indoor and outdoor use, though long periods of direct sun will fade colour over time. For windy outdoor sites, choose our fabric mesh banners, which let wind pass through.
Do you have sheer or see-through fabrics?
Yes. For Di Emme Creative's illuminated showroom cubes we specified an 80gsm sheer, about a third of the weight of standard backlit fabric, so you can see through it. Even lighter sheers are available. They suit car showrooms, window displays and ceiling drops. Sheer is quoted to your job, so contact us with your size and use.

How do I send my artwork?
Download the template from the Template Downloads tab, add your design and send the print-ready file. We check every file and send a proof for your approval before printing.
How long does it take?
Production takes 5 working days from artwork approval. Delivery is Australia-wide and takes 3–7 working days depending on your state and postcode.
