The constraint

OPTOPOL, the Polish company that first brought spectral-domain OCT eye scanning to market, sells its equipment in about 90 countries and exhibits its brand around the world, from London to Poland, Hong Kong and Sydney. Lightbox displays are their stand of choice at most of those shows, so they know exactly what good looks like. To win this job, we had to match an international standard.

Their brief for Australia and New Zealand was clear, an L-shape to fit a 6x3 booth, easy enough for their own team to set up, and portable enough to take from one show to the next. It also mentioned smaller shows coming up, where a full L wouldn't fit.

  • We planned for their next show

Their brief mentioned smaller shows coming up, so we packed the spare parts they'd need, plus a black back cover, at no extra cost.

  • One frame covers different booth sizes

Tool-free and up in minutes. The L reconfigures into a 6m wall and a 3m wall, or just the 3m for a small booth, with nothing new to buy.

  • Delivered early, set up with confidence

We delivered ahead of the agreed date, so their team had time to check the display, get familiar with the frame and practise the setup before the Australia show.

More than the L Shape they asked for

L-shape: three universal angle brackets lock the 6m and 3m into a 90° corner for a large or corner booth.

6m and 3m apart: split them and place each wall where it works, for example a 6m back wall and a 3m wall on another side or near the entrance.

3m only: take just the 3m wall to a small show and leave the 6m at home.

One purchase covers every booth size they book.

OPTOPOL ANZ 6x3 SEG backlit L-shape stand at O-SHOW26 Melbourne trade show

Melbourne to the Gold Coast in 11 days.

Ordered from Poland and delivered to the team in Mulgrave, Victoria, ahead of O-SHOW26 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 16–17 August 2026. It went up there as an L.

Eleven days later the same stand came out of its wheeled cases and lit up again at APVRS 2026, the Asia-Pacific retina congress at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, 28–30 August.

A new print for every show.

In September OPTOPOL ordered new artwork for the 3m wall, and they've since ordered another 3m print for November. Same frames, new prints, each ready 7–8 working days after artwork approval.

That's how one kit covers a whole congress year: buy the frames once, then change the message for each show or product launch.
