Does the ring need to be rigged from the ceiling?
No. The circular banner is carried on the four 3m pillars, so there is no rigging to book and no rigging fee to pay. That is the main practical advantage over a hanging sign, which most Australian venues charge for separately and some do not allow at all.
Will my venue allow it?
Check before you order. Overhead elements are the thing exhibition organisers most often restrict, and plenty of halls cap stand height below 3m regardless of how something is supported. Send us your exhibitor manual and we will read it with you - it takes five minutes and it is a lot cheaper than finding out at bump-in.
How is this different from a walled 6m x 6m stand?
It gives you presence rather than explanation. The ring makes you visible across the hall and the open floor brings people in from any direction, but there is no large wall to carry a product story, a diagram or pricing. If your message needs a wall, our Pavilion is the better stand and we would rather sell you that one.
Should I print the graphics double-sided?
On this stand, yes. An open island is walked around from every side, so a white reverse on a pillar is on show to half the room. The kit is quoted single or double sided - ask us to price both and compare.
How do I artwork a circular banner?
Treat it as a repeating band rather than a poster. It is 5.5m in diameter and one metre high, seen from every angle, so there is no front and no back. Most brands run their name two to four times around the ring with clear space between. We send a print-ready template and our team will tell you if the layout will not work before we print it.
Are the counters really the travel cases?
Yes. The two rectangle counters convert into the cases the stand travels in, so you are not freighting empty crates and you have nothing bulky to store between shows. Everything else packs into soft nylon bags.
Can I mount a television?
Not as standard - this kit does not include a TV mount. We can fit a bracket for a screen up to 32 inches to one of the pillars for $89 inc GST. Ask before you buy the television, because the pillars carry the ring and we want to check the load. Televisions are not supplied.
Is lighting included?
No, and it is worth thinking about on this stand in particular. There are no walls to bounce light off, so an open island relies more on hall lighting than a walled booth does. We quote spotlights separately against your layout - ask us when you order.
Is furniture included?
No. Tables, chairs, stools and any props shown in the photos are not part of the package. The two counters and the brochure stand are included. Most venues hire furniture on site and it is usually cheaper than freighting your own.
How long does it take to put up?
Two to three people, roughly two hours, no tools. Build and stand the four pillars first, then fit the ring across the top. You need clear floor space around the booth while you raise the pillars, so do it before your neighbours build.
Can I use it in a smaller booth?
The ring needs a 6m x 6m footprint, so not as a complete stand. The four pillars are independent units though, so you can run two or four of them on their own at a smaller show and leave the ring in its bag.
Can I change the artwork for the next show?
Yes. The aluminium frames last for years and the graphics are the consumable. Reprint the ring alone for a campaign message and leave the pillars as they are - that is the cheapest way to make the stand look new.
How do I clean and store the graphics?
Machine washable on a cold gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry or iron directly. Fold each graphic back into its cotton bag between shows. Creases drop out once the fabric is tensioned on the frame.
What is the lead time?
10 working days from artwork approval, plus freight. If your show date is tight, call us on 1300 197 088 before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
What is the warranty?
12 months on the aluminium hardware frames. Printed graphics are excluded, as they are custom made to your artwork.
