What makes the Alcove different from your other 6m stands?
It closes three sides instead of one. The 6m front wall is joined by an L-shaped return at each end that turns forward about a metre, so the stand forms a partial room. Visitors who step in are shielded from aisle noise and from the stands on either side of you.
How tall is it, and will it fit my venue?
The centre panel is 3m high and the wings and returns are 2.3m. Many Australian venues cap stand height at 2.4m or 2.5m in standard shell scheme halls, so check your exhibitor manual before you order. If your height limit is under 3m, tell us and we will point you to a stand in the range that fits.
Is the tablet display stand included?
No. A tablet stand appears in some of the photos to show the stand in use, but it is not part of this package. You can add one from our tablet, brochure and monitor stands page.
Are the televisions included, and how big a screen can I hang?
Televisions are not included. You get two mounting brackets rated for screens up to 32 inches, which is the standard across our whole 6m range. We can supply a bracket for a larger screen on request, but please ask before you buy the television. The fabric tube frames are built for light loads, and narrow panels such as the 1m wide arch returns are not rated to carry a heavy screen. Is furniture included?
No. Stools, chairs, tables, brochure holders and any props shown in the photos are not part of the package. The fabric display counter is included.
How many counters do I get?
One. It assembles to 940mm wide x 1000mm high x 455mm deep with a printed fabric wrap. If you want a service point at both ends of the alcove, add a second from our stretch fabric display counters.
How is the stand lit?
Two spotlights are included. On a three-sided stand the enclosed corners fall into shadow under general hall lighting, so aim one into each side of the alcove. Additional spotlights are available if you want to wash the full 6m front wall evenly.
How long does it take to put up?
Two people, about an hour, no tools. The aluminium tubes push together and the fabric graphics slide over the frame and zip closed at the base. Pack-down is quicker.
Can I print both sides of the graphics?
Yes, on request. It is worth thinking about on this stand in particular, because the two side returns face the aisle as well as the inside of your booth. Single-sided with a white reverse is the standard.
Can I use it in a smaller booth?
Yes, within reason. The panels are separate, so you can leave one or both of the L-arch returns in the bag and run it as a straight 6m wall, or drop a wing and run a 4m version. You cannot make the frame smaller than the panel sizes supplied.
Can I change the artwork for the next show?
Yes. The aluminium frame is the expensive part and it lasts for years. Order replacement fabric graphics when your message or branding changes and reuse the same frame.
How do I clean and store the graphics?
The fabric is machine washable on a cold gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry or iron directly. Fold it back into its cotton bag between shows. Creases from folding drop out once the fabric is tensioned on the frame.
How does it travel?
In soft nylon carry bags. The full stand fits in a wagon or van, so there is no freight crate and no forklift needed at the loading dock.
What is the lead time?
10 working days from artwork approval, plus freight. If your show date is tight, call us on 1300 197 088 before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
What artwork do you need?
We send print-ready templates once you order. Supply PDF or AI files in CMYK with fonts outlined. Our team checks every file before printing and will come back to you if anything needs fixing.
What is the warranty?
12 months on the aluminium hardware frame. Printed graphics are excluded, as they are custom made to your artwork.
